Body in Mind - The original babe blog

A daily blog about female beauty, tasteful nude photos and beautiful women

Look closely at this picture...

September 24, 2008 - To make a point about our 'throw-away' consumer society, US photographer Chrіs Jоrdаn has created a series of photos in a series called "Running the Numbers", which aims to show 'the large-scale waste of consumerism in the US".

In this photo, Jordan assembled 32,000 Barbie dolls to look like a bust of, well, a bust. 32,000 is the number of American women who undergo breast enlargement surgery every month. The original photo is 5ft by 6 ft.

Jordan left corporate law to 'encourage people to take action by translating gigantic numbers into visual images.'

We're assuming Jordan doesn't want large numbers of people buying his art, then.
